The emerging nu-metal outfit tap real-life trauma to translate a message of positivity and power in their latest track.

Earning comparisons to the likes of genre mainstays such as P.O.D., Sevendust, and Breaking Benjamin, Texas-bred outfit Relent continue to assert their rank among nu-metal's new school. Since the band's 2016 introduction and the subsequent success of their potent single, "Rise," the band has done exactly that.

Sourcing real life experience from a upbringing that gave the guys a sense of streetwise sincerity, Relent's brand of metallic beef is substantiated by a message of self-discovery, inner strength, and finding spirituality in the least likely of scenarios.

Last year, Relent gained traction with the release of their anthem of empowerment through adversity with "Low," and struck a chord with fans of the crew's heavy bounce. Combined with thematic weight that drives home an important decree of perseverance - Relent continued their ascent as spiritually-minded force within aggressive music's emerging generation.

Now, the band have returned with a visual for their most recent single in "Ghost". Again asserting a message of hope during the darkest of times, the band's rugged exterior shields a unique presence of mind that translates in their push of positivity.

Building off of the success of "Low," and its strong rotating via genre authorities like Sirius XM's Octane channel, "Ghost" doubles down on the band's emphatic arrival in the genre. A combination of stylistic flair and thematic relevance, Relent... won't.
